School Grants Program

The Highland Rotary Club is pleased to announce a grant program specifically designed for certified K-12 teachers and administrators from Highland CUSD#5 schools and St. Paul Catholic School. The purpose of the Highland Rotary Club School Grants Program is to help fund small projects that allow teachers to create fun, innovative learning opportunities that the current school budget does not allow for in the current school year.

No project is too small, so please consider applying. We will award grants three times a year with awards being announced on September 1, December 1, and March 1 of each year. Grants of up to $500 each will be awarded, with a total of $2,500 in grant money being awarded each period. Projects that have a total cost of more than $500 and are receiving funding outside of this grant process are eligible. Please see the grant application for full details.

We are limited to giving away $2,500 each selection period. Applications that are not chosen for awards when they are submitted can be held for review during the next period. There is a place on the application to note the time constraints related to your project and if you would like your application held for review for the next time, if you are not chosen for an award when first submitted.  Please note: we no longer accept applications asking to fund Chromebooks, iPads or the like.

All applicants will receive notification of whether or not they have been chosen for an award at the end of each quarter. Please do not call to check on the status of an application prior to that, as the Grant Committee won’t review applications until the end of the quarter.

The application for the Highland Rotary Club School Grants Program is HERE. Please note that your school principal must sign the application for Highland Rotary Club to accept it. We are very excited about this program and hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for a little extra funding. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Carol Wylie at
